Johnson: Terrorists have not shaken faith in democracy
(ANSA) – ROME, SEPTEMBER 11 – Queen Elizabeth sent a message to American President Joe Biden on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the attack on the Twin Towers stating that the victims and survivors of the attack – as well as their families – are in his prayers.
In her message, reports the BBC, the sovereign also paid tribute to the resilience of the communities that have come together to rebuild.
Tribute also from the British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, according to whom the terrorists have failed to “shake our faith in freedom and democracy”.
