A bar-restaurant with dilapidated buildings on the Falzarego pass: the Regola plans and looks for a partner

In the competition of ideas the architect Roberto Menardi prevailed: “Guideline for the inclusion of the building in the environmental context”

CORTINA D’AMPEZZO. The Regole d’Ampezzo have decided to carry out the redevelopment project of the Falzarego pass proposed by the architect Roberto Menardi: it is a question of recovering three dilapidated buildings, at the top of the pass, which will be free from concession contracts to third parties in 2024. In autumn 2018, the Regole had launched a competition of ideas between seven professional regolieri to recover the volumes of the three buildings and present the proposal for a new structure to be used as a bar-restaurant to provide a service to passing tourists and skiers in the area of the Lagazuoi-Cinque Torri.
