He had worked in salons in Lentiai and Busche. A friend remembers him fondly: “It was a gift for all of us we lose a huge person”

SEREN DEL GRAPPA. Michele’s death is a very hard blow for the Pagnussat family, esteemed and appreciated in the town, as well as for the entire community of Seren del Grappa. The boy had been cultivating a dream for some time, matured after a period of stay in South Korea. A country he fell in love with, so much so that in 2019 he left his hairdressing job in a salon in Busche di Cesiomaggiore to move there. and turn his life around. Then came the Covid, the pandemic, the limitations, the closed borders and Michele had to put that dream in a drawer, ready to reopen it as soon as the contingencies did not give him the chance.

In the meantime, life had gone on as always, with the affection for the parents and that gutted love for the granddaughter for whom he doted. The little girl was everything to him and even on his Instagram profile there is space for stories that portray him with the little girl. He had found accommodation in the center of Feltre where he had been living for a while.

He was a hairdresser by profession and his old clients remember him both during his working period in Lentiai and during his time in Busche. And it is a colleague, Barbara Slongo, from the Mirror hairdressing salon in Busche who dedicated a thought to him: «I can’t find the words, you were ready for another trip, it was another destination, not so high. All of us who have known and loved you miss you ».

He loved his hairdressing job. Who knows, maybe he wanted to bring his Italian creativity to South Korea, where he could show all his flair.

Those who knew him well always remember him smiling, kind, humble and respectful of people. A boy who was easy to love. Very close to the family, he loved his parents and in particular his niece who he put on a pedestal filling her with attention and affection.

«It was a gift for everyone», writes a friend, «and now we friends and the country are losing a huge person. I hope he looks at me from up there and is always close to me. It will always be with me, with all Seren del Grappa ».
