Because of the local power failure, there was no business on that day. He was standing at the door and suddenly felt a shock. , “The glass at home was shattered.” The resident said that the road to the place where the incident occurred has been closed.

On July 20, the official website of the Dengfeng Municipal Government of Henan Province of the Communist Party of China reported that an explosion occurred at Dengdian Group Aluminum Alloy Co., Ltd. in Quhe Village, Gaocheng Town, Dengfeng City at 6 am on the 20th. Currently, there are no casualties.

The report also stated that around 4 o’clock, the water level of the Yinghe River near the incident company soared and exceeded the warning level. Due to the soaring water level of the river, the wall collapsed and the plant flooded. At about 6 o’clock, the high-temperature solution in the alloy tank in the factory area exploded due to flooding.

At present, the entire plant has stopped production, involving an operating capacity of more than 40,000 tons.

According to the Chinese company Chacha APP, the company was established in June 2020 and its business scope includes non-ferrous metal alloy manufacturing, non-ferrous metal rolling processing, and synthetic material manufacturing. In March 2019, the company received administrative penalties for failing to submit written materials as required.

In recent years, there have been frequent explosions in chemical plants in the mainland, causing heavy casualties. For example, on August 2, 2014, the explosion accident at the Kunshan Chemical Plant; August 12, 2015, the explosion accident at the Tianjin Chemical Plant; and March 21, 2019, a particularly serious explosion accident at the Jiangsu Chemical Plant.
