During the law enforcement action, the Tianjin Municipal Market Supervision Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Corps and the public security department inspected a chain cake shop located in Xiqing District and Hebei District respectively, and found that the cake shop had privately made and sold “Bingdundun” image cakes. It is suspected of violating the provisions of the Regulations on the Protection of Olympic Symbols and constitutes an infringement of the exclusive rights of Olympic symbols. In addition, law enforcement officers also investigated and dealt with illegal acts of selling “Jin Dundun” online by a famous jewelry store in Hedong District, Tianjin, infringing the exclusive rights of the Olympic logo, and used relevant clues to find out the upstream manufacturers in Shenzhen.

On February 16, the Law Enforcement Corps and the Public Security Department found that several merchants were suspected of infringing the exclusive rights of the Olympic logo during the work of arranging the Xinwanlong Dahutong Commercial Center in Xiqing District, Tianjin. More than 300 pieces of “Bingdundun” T-shirts and brand-name clothing suspected of infringing the exclusive right to use a registered trademark.

At present, the above cases have been filed for investigation, and relevant illegal clues of upstream manufacturers have been transferred to the local market supervision and management department.
