FOGGIA – A 47-year-old man died while working during the installation phase of a construction site on the A 14 in the section between Poggio Imperiale and San Severo in the direction of Bari. Shortly before 8 am on the Bologna-Taranto motorway, the accident occurred in the which the worker, employed by an external company – at km 528, died after being hit by a heavy vehicle.

According to what is learned, the victim, of Campania origins, worked for the company Edil San Felice di Nola (Naples), subcontractor of Autostrade. The 47-year-old – according to an initial reconstruction of the incident – would have been squeezed between the truck that hit him and the truck of the company he worked for. There was nothing for him to do.

The agents of the traffic police coordinated in the investigations by the prosecutor of Foggia intervened Oriana Tantimonaco. The men from the Prevention and Safety in Workplaces Service (Spesal) also arrived at the scene.
