Accident on the Pa-Ct highway: four people were injured

Accident on the A19 “Palermo-Catania” motorway, where traffic was blocked for a few hours between the Gerbini Sferro and Motta Sant’Anastasia junctions, at km 178. On site, in addition to the 118 staff, Anas staff for traffic management, which was temporarily diverted to state road 192. Two vehicles, a car and a truck were involved in the accident.

The firefighters who intervened made the vehicles and the carriageway safe, facilitating the subsequent road restoration by ANAS staff. Both the driver of the truck and the three occupants of the car suffered bruises and injuries and were transported to hospital by the 118 service doctors.
