After more than two weeks – to be precise: 17 days – from the vote of the last administrative in Messina there are still no certain results on the members of the city council. From the first day after the elections it was clear how the attribution of preferences would be complicated because presidents and tellers had been the authors of sometimes sensational and gross errors, which slowed down the electoral machine.
The same seat of the Central Office led by the magistrate Corrado Bonanzinga who took office to clarify the ballots had to recount the ballots several times, and made it known that this afternoon, at the latest tomorrow, the electoral verification could be concluded with the proclamation of the 32 councilors. There are still important issues to be solved, first of all the majority prize, naturally connected with the election or otherwise of some municipal councilors.
