Administrative, the Castelguidone case: 278 voters, only one goes to the polling stations. Elections canceled

The elections in Castelguidone, a town in the province of Chieti which has about 300 residents, were canceled. Only one person of the 278 entitled to vote in the locality of the Theatine province showed up at the polls on Sunday. Only one list presented in support of the country’s only candidate for mayor, Guglielmo De Santis. The nullity is ordered because the minimum quorum of voters has not been reached, equal to 50% of the registered voters; the Theatine prefecture will appoint a prefectural commissioner for the provisional administration of the territorial body.
