The political movement comments on the Commission’s ok to the bill on hydrogen trains

“The hydrogen trains of the councilor Restano, which risk costing the pockets of citizens even more than the bimodal trains of Marguerettaz (50 million), only serve to derail the Lavevaz junta and the urgent modernization and electrification project of the disastrous railway Aosta Valley “. Thus Adu Valle d’Aosta welcomes the favorable vote in the Commission for the bill on rail transport with hydrogen traction.

The political movement recalls the collection of signatures and the decision of the Valley Council to proceed with the electrification of the Aosta – Ivrea and with the reactivation of the Aosta – Pré-Saint-Didier. «Electrification is finally on the horizon – continues Adu -, the project is now completed and there are 110 million euros of PNNR to carry it out. Now, with the excuse of hydrogen, the old Valdostan political class (the worst autonomism) would like to sabotage this tortuous path that has just started. All with the complicity of the League, which is only interested in putting the current majority in difficulty, in order to occupy their seats as soon as possible ».

According to Adu, “the astonishing green light from the Economic Development Commission of the Regional Council which commits the Giunta to present a study of interventions for hydrogen mobility is yet another slap in the face to the Valdostan voters and taxpayers, the result of cynical and ignorant power games. It is further proof that the Valle d’Aosta Region continues irresponsibly to pursue expensive delusions of arrogant gigantism ».
