Pentagon: it was organization mind. New alert in Kabul airport
(ANSA) – NEW YORK, AUG 27 – The United States carried out a drone raid in the Afghan province of Nangahr, killing a member of Isis-K defined by the Pentagon as one of the minds of the terrorist organization responsible for the attack on Kabul airport. There would be no civilian casualties.
In the same hours, the US embassy in Kabul again warned the Americans not to “go” to the airport in the Afghan capital. “Citizens who are now” at some of the airport’s entrances – such as the Abbey gate, the East gate, the North gate and the New Ministry of Interior gate – “must leave them immediately” because there are “security threats” . A similar warning had come from the embassy in recent days, before the attack. (HANDLE).
