Agordo, projects to be refinanced, allocated € 246,100

The council forced to make a substantial change in the budget. The objective is to cope with the increase in the costs of raw materials

AGORDO. The increases in the cost of raw materials are being felt. Agordo has to put his hand to the budget to refinance projects after the price revision. The city council, on Thursday evening, approved a change to the budget of 246,100 euros covered with higher revenues for 95,000 and with the application of the administration surplus for 151,100. Much of the change went to cover the higher costs for the projects for the construction of new parking lots and for the expansion of the roads and for that aimed at improving the energy efficiency of the nursery school.

“We are talking about 110 thousand euros that we must replenish to cope with the increase in prices established by the regional price list launched last May”, said the commissioner for public works, Giulio Favretti, “it is true that the State has come to meet the institutions public, but it did so for the works that had been contracted out by 31 December 2021. Unfortunately, our projects started in July 2021 but, due to the lack of staff in the town hall, they have not yet been contracted out ».

Favretti explained in detail the various increases: 20 thousand euros more for the parking in via Teto Piciol, 8 thousand for that of Parech, 16 thousand for the one in via 5 Maggio, 13,500 for that of via IV novembre, 12 thousand for the widening of via Piero Poloni.

«We had to allocate another 10 thousand euros for the works on the Le Motte car park in via Tissi», added Favretti, «whose process was very long due to the technical problems for the disposal of special waste. A further 7 thousand euros will be added to the 60 thousand state contribution for the Don road. Fortunately, then, we found the funds to pave the parking lot in front of the stadium: 10 thousand euros of ministerial funds and 30 thousand of free surplus resulting from urbanization charges “.

The councilor for sport, Cristina Bien, then explained the 500 thousand euros incoming and outgoing that derive from the border funds that the Province wanted to allocate for the replacement of the natural grass ground with the synthetic grass one of the field of training football.

«This is a maxi project that also involves six other fields in the province», said Bien, «with these funds we will go on to carry out the extraordinary maintenance of the fund, but the field will not be enlarged. There are no funds for this intervention. In this case, therefore, either we take the money and do the synthetic or we do nothing. We believe that having a training ground where the youth teams can play and train the youth and first team is essential. Next to it there is an excellent grass field with measures that allow second category matches ».

The mayor Roberto Chissalè spent words of thanks for the president of the province, Roberto Padrin, acknowledging him the merit of having carried out his own initiative in support of provincial football. The council finally approved the conclusion of the process relating to the urban variant for the projects of the municipalitiesfive car parks and the widening of via Poloni. The latter, in particular, had caused friction between the Municipality and the private individuals who were expected to expropriate part of the land.

“The variant was exposed to the register for 20 days,” said Favretti, “and the private arguments have been temporarily rejected. However, there was a meeting with the private lawyer and there is the possibility of reaching an amicable agreement ».
