In the amendment of the M5s, the waste management plan of the mayor, Roberto Gualtieri (Pd), was bound to the objectives of the Pnrr (ie the circular economy).

M5S: we consistent against incinerators

«Today the 5 Star Movement cast a coherent vote against the Rome incinerator. The same cannot be said of the Democratic Party, which by saying yes to the commissioner powers to build the plant contradicts the position expressed by the Lazio Region led by its former secretary. A surreal contradiction! ” was the comment of the group leader of the 5 Star Movement in the Camera Davide Crippa. “Another absurdity is the promise, obviously without any foundation, to build the plant by the Jubilee 2025 – adds Crippa -. The construction times of these plants are much longer and would be even more so in this phase, in which the deliveries of all the plant components are recording monstrous delays. An incinerator is not made by assembling a box of Lego bricks bought in the local shop ».
