Khaled Ait Taleb, Minister of Health and Social Protection, accompanied by Yahdiah Bouchaab, Governor of the Draa-Tafilalet region, in the presence of the President of the Draa-Tafilalet region and a number of elected officials and civil society activists, today, Wednesday, in the city of Errachidia, launched the services of 41 urban and rural health centers, including two kidney filtration centers. At the level of the regions and prefectures of the aforementioned region.

The same government official gave the actual launch of health services to the urban health center, level one, Mustafa Al-Maani, and the actual launch was given to the rest of the health institutions through communication with the medical and nursing staff working in these health institutions in the regions of the region (Rashidia, Midelt, Tinghir, Ouarzazate, and Zagora).

At the level of the Errachidia region, the services of 5 urban and rural health centers of the first level and 9 village clinics were launched. This concerns both the urban health centers of the first level, Mustafa Al-Maani and Moulay Ali Al-Sharif, in addition to the rural health centers of the first level, “New Zawia”, “Mansourieh and” “Mazkida”, as well as the following village clinics: “New Palace”, “Zawiyat Al-Amlkis”, “Ouled Shaker”, “Douira”, “Jubail”, “Ghurfa”, “Turok”, “Akdman”, and “Afg”. The services of the blood filtration unit were also launched at the rural health center, level two, “Asrir,” which will provide blood filtration services to patients with renal failure in the Upper Farkala community and neighboring communities. Thus, relieving residents of the hassle and costs of transportation to the center of Goulmima.

At the level of the Midelt region, 13 urban and rural health centers of the first and second levels, as well as 7 health clinics, entered service after they were rehabilitated and equipped to receive patients and facilities coming from the various communities and departments territorially affiliated with the Midelt region. This concerns the two urban health centers, the first level, “Tahmidant” in Al-Rish, and “Souq El-Ahad,” in addition to the rural health centers, the second level, “Aghbalo,” “Krando,” and “Zawia Sidi Hamza,” as well as the rural health centers, the first level, “Ait Azdak” and “Ait Azdak.” Ait Amghar, Tamayoust, Amersid, Amzizel, Tlichet, and Toulal, in addition to the village clinics of Taghazout, Bouayach, Zabzat, Ait Khojman, Ait Ato, and “Bartat”, “Ait Wahi Ouhaqi”, and “Tazmamart”.

In Tinghir Province, the services of the “Alneef” blood filtration center were provided, which will provide its services for the benefit of patients with renal failure in the Alneef community and neighboring communities, relieving them of the hardship of transportation to the Tinghir center, in addition to the services of the first-level rural health center “Imider,” as well as the two rural dispensaries “Fazou.” And “Tirka”.

At the level of the Zagora region, the services of the village clinic “Nasrat” in the Taconit territorial community were launched.

The Minister of Health and Social Protection revealed that launching the services of these health facilities comes within the framework of a policy to rehabilitate and equip public health institutions, in implementation of the royal instructions related to launching a radical and profound reform of the national health system in order to create the conditions conducive to implementing workshops for disseminating comprehensive health coverage and social protection.

The government official added that these health institutions, which fall within the new generation of primary health care institutions, aim to enhance the health offer at the level of the Draa-Tafilalet region, as they will provide various health services and a treatment basket that includes, in particular, general medical consultations, blood filtration services, and nursing treatments, in addition to Tracking chronic diseases, especially kidney failure, diabetes, and high blood pressure, as well as tracking maternal and child health, school health, awareness-raising services, and education for health.

He added that the opening of these centers indicates the royal will aimed at bringing health services closer to male and female citizens, pointing out that all health institutions have the same appearance and the same specifications (there is no difference between cities and villages), and they all have access to the Internet and an information system.

Ait Taleb confirmed that, within the framework of the workshops for generalizing health coverage, 41 health centers were opened in the region at once in the Draa-Tafilalet region (the cradle of the Alawite state), and the rest of the Kingdom’s regions will be included with these services in the future, recalling a set of strides that have been made within the framework of reforming the health system. .

It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Health and Social Protection has worked to mobilize specialized human resources that will ensure the provision of medical and therapeutic services for the benefit of the population targeted by the services of these health facilities, which number more than 200 thousand people. It also worked to modernize and equip these health institutions with the latest high-quality biomedical supplies and equipment.
