(ANSA) – WASHINGTON, AUGUST 24 – Some of Al Capone’s weapons will go to auction in October, in California, including his favorite, a .45 caliber automatic pistol. Other items belonging to one of the most famous will also go to the highest bidder gangsters of American history: vintage photos, a letter written to his son from Alcatraz prison, the bed shared with his wife in their luxurious residence in Florida. In all 174 pieces, banned in an auction entitled “A century of fame: the legacy of Al Capone”. (HANDLE).
