The Spanish singer inaugurated with an extraordinary performance the 63rd version of the famous Festival held in the Chilean city of Valparaiso.

Alejandro Sanz triumphed last Sunday, at the opening of the Viña del Mar Festival, the emblematic artistic event that takes place this week in the Chilean region of Valparaíso.

He was in charge of the inauguration of the 63rd edition, in which he starred in one of the most spectacular performances of the day, 30 years after his first appearance at the prestigious Viña, now consolidated as one of its main protagonists.

His was an extraordinary emergence. Accompanied by his band, he performed for just over an hour the greatest hits of his career, including Corazón partío, Amiga mia or Quisiera ser, before more than 15,000 enthusiastic attendees. The winner of 24 Latin Grammys, with more than 25 million records sold, delighted the public gathered to attend the opening of the event.

The day ended with the traditional awards ceremony, in which Alejandro Sanz made history once again by receiving the silver and gold seagulls for his impeccable show and his musical career, respectively. Alejandro Sanz’s presence in Latin America will continue in Santiago, Chile, on February 27 and will end in Asunción (Paragua) on March 2.

This Sunday was Sanz’s fifth appearance in the Chilean Viña del Mar, where he returned eight years after his last visit in 2016 and after closing one of his most successful tours around the world last year 2023, when he visited the main cities of Mexico, Latin America, Spain and the United States with their ‘SANZ en Vivo’ tour.
