Alessandro Ricci died with a broken neck bone

The end of the 32-year-old son of the Agribeton owners remains a mystery: all investigative hypotheses are open

SUSEGANA. Broken neck bone. Alessandro Ricci, the 32-year-old from Treviso, son of the owners of Agribeton, found lifeless, drowned on Tuesday afternoon in a siphon in the Enel canal in Crevada, between San Pietro di Feletto and Susegana, had a fractured neck.

The boy – we remember – had participated in a party from which he had gone away with a friend from Cadore. It was the external inspection of the 32-year-old’s body, carried out on Wednesday by a doctor, that brought out the evidence. And this is why the public prosecutor on duty, the deputy prosecutor Mara Giovanna De Donà, has also decided to ask for an autopsy, which will be performed in the next few hours.

The decision was also made in the wake of the family’s will, which on more than one occasion made it known that they wanted to know what happened to the boy, since there are still too many unknowns that weigh on the tragedy, whose contours are not not at all clear.

The breaking of the neck bone does not change what were immediately the investigative hypotheses of the men of the Treviso mobile team, i.e. the exclusion of signs of a struggle in the death of the young Brazilian, but the deputy prosecutor has therefore decided to proceed with a further and more in-depth autopsy examination to dispel any doubts, if any, on the involvement of third parties.

The two most accredited hypotheses, for now, are the misfortune after the party with the friend from Cadore, or the extreme gesture. Hypotheses that will remain so if they are not found on the two mobile phones that the victim had more decisive clues with him.

The first hypothesis is supported by the psychophysical conditions of the 32-year-old, who on the evening of his disappearance, according to witnesses, would have been conditioned by the abundant alcohol taken with friends, during an evening spent in the second family home in Collalto. The second, the most tragic one of suicide, from the shoes and the cell phone that the young man from Treviso had placed neatly on the shore in front of the railing of the Enel canal.

The family struggles to believe in their son’s suicide. Difficult to understand, if indeed the investigations will say that this is the case. The young man’s mother and father, who reside in a villa in via Da Ponte, made it clear that Alessandro could never end his life. The autopsy, perhaps, will say a little more about what really happened that night, the last, of the 32-year-old.

Sabato Ricci met with four friends in the second family home in Collalto. Towards evening, however, the group had split up. The 32-year-old Ricci and a friend from Valle di Cadore would have wandered during the night through the countryside of Crevada until, at a certain point, the San Vito lover, who had lent his mobile phone to Ricci and had chased him to get it back, lost track of his friend. –
