[Epoch Times, July 30, 2021]At about 5:30 pm on July 29, a gas tanker in an enterprise in Fushun City, Liaoning Province exploded, causing 1 death and 17 injuries. Local people said that the explosion produced a huge impact, causing damage to the roofs of nearby houses and shattering of glass.
The location of the incident was at the Special Equipment Atmospheric Tank Truck Testing Base of Fushun City, Nianpan Township, Dongzhou District, Fushun City. A vehicle-mounted liquefied gas tank exploded while it was being inspected after being pressurized. The Emergency Bureau of Dongzhou District, Fushun City reported on July 29 that the accident caused 1 death, 1 serious injury (comminuted fracture of the right forearm), 3 minor injuries, and 13 minor injuries.
According to the video uploaded by netizens, there was a loud noise at the place of the incident, and then it exploded and burst into flames. A huge fireball was instantly formed and thick black smoke rose up. Some people shouted: “It exploded, ah.”
An eyewitness told the news from the upper reaches of the mainland that there were many petrochemical companies in Dongzhou District, and the area around the incident was mostly chemical companies and auto repair factories, and the incident was close to the checkpoint. He was near the explosion site at the time of the incident.
“Suddenly there was a huge explosion, and the ground seemed to vibrate. I was blindfolded for a few seconds before I realized it was an explosion.” The witness said that the glass of a nearby residential house was shattered by the explosion, resulting in gas after the explosion. Fragments of the tanker flew out several meters.
A nearby resident said that the shop he opened was not far from the explosion site, and the huge impact of the explosion caused damage to the roof of his shop.
In recent months, there have been frequent explosions in various parts of the mainland.

At 6:30 on June 13, a gas explosion occurred in Yanhu Community, Zhangwan District, Shiyan City, Hubei Province. The Chinese Communist Party officially notified that as of 12:30 on the 14th, the accident had caused 25 deaths and 138 injuries, of which 37 were seriously injured.
