“Here the two protagonists experience for the first time the dynamics of a long-distance relationship”, explain Andrea Brusa and Marco Scotuzzi, directors of The voices alone. “Their dialogue really took place over the phone. We wanted the scene to be realistic ”.
The film tells the story of Giovanni (Giovanni Storti), who was left without work due to the pandemic and forced to emigrate to Poland to look for a new job. To maintain the relationship with his wife (Alessandra Faiella), he will resort to long video calls with her.
Andrea Brusa and Marco Scotuzzi are two Italian directors and screenwriters. The voices alone is the first feature film they direct. After the preview at the Taormina film fest, the film will be in cinemas from 4 to 6 July.
