The extension of the regional measures to adjust the restrictions against Covid-19 is expected
AOSTA. Valle d’Aosta will remain in the red zone for at least a week. The confirmation comes from the presidency of the region.
“Following the weekly monitoring carried out by the control room set up by the Ministry of Health, the classification in the red zone for the Aosta Valley is confirmed also for next week “, reads the note released by the regional building.”On Monday, April 12, 2021, the President of the Region Erik Lavevaz will sign a new ordinance for the extension of the measures implemented on April 6 “.
With the confirmation of the red zone, the curfew remains from 10 pm to 5 am and during the day the ban on travel except for work, health or urgent reasons with the possibility, according to the regional ordinance, to move to the Municipalities near just to take advantage of unsuspended services or activities. Stores that do not sell groceries or basic necessities are closed. Activities open to the public must limit admissions; access is allowed to only one member per family unit at a time. Bars and restaurants can continue to work only with take-out or home delivery service in compliance with safety protocols.
There remains the possibility of reaching your own garden even outside your municipality. Motor activity is allowed only within the municipal boundaries respecting the minimum interpersonal distance of one meter; sporting activity is allowed individually in one’s own municipality keeping the minimum distance of 2 meters and outside the main streets of inhabited centers, preferably on signposted secondary roads and paths.
The didactic activities of kindergartens, elementary schools and the first year of middle school attendance, as well as the educational services for children, are carried out in the presence. The other schools carry out the activity remotely.
