Anti-union conduct: condemned two waste collection companies in Valboite

by admin

VALBOITE. Convicted of anti-union activity. The provision comes from the Treviso court, dates back to 12 October and concerns two companies, Ingam and Bioman, which carry out the collection and transport of municipal solid waste in various municipalities of Cadore: San Vito, Borca, Vodo, Cibiana and Valle. The two companies employ a total of 110 employees. «Clear anti-union activity» reads a note written by Fit Cisl, promoter of an appeal against the two companies complaining of hostile behavior towards its members.

“We are satisfied with the outcome of the appeal”, say the regional secretary Maurizio Fonti and the territorial secretary Alessandro Bagagiolo, “because the obvious injustice towards many workers who have honestly carried out their work every day and who have seen themselves deprived of part of the due remuneration thanks also to the complacency of Fiadel who, in order to bring home some members, did not hesitate to sign transactions that are clearly harmful to the workers. Considering that Ingam and Bioman have always operated with these methods and that they perform a service paid for with citizens’ money, we believe it is a duty on the part of the municipalities that have entrusted the service to these companies to revoke the contract and expel similar subjects from the territory for never make them come back. Workers must be respected, today more than ever ».

At the outcome of the trial it emerged that a company manager threatened the workers enrolled in the Fit with the aim of making them pass to another trade union organization, the Fiadel precisely as declared by the Fit Cisl representatives.
