In order to obtain visas, Chinese students plan to initiate a class action lawsuit. They also set up an English website (10043.org) to disseminate student cases affected by the No. 10043 ban, calling for the maintenance of academic freedom.
Chinese students studying in the U.S. are refused visas, and U.S. universities are not happy. Eight colleges and universities have become “severely affected areas” for visa refusals

Article 11 of the “Opinions” stipulates that: Party building must be strengthened. Party committees at all levels should pay attention to strengthening the party building work of the European and American Student Association (Sorority Association for Overseas Students), and carry out party work in accordance with the party constitution and combining the characteristics of the European and American Student Association (Sorority Association for Overseas Students). The European and American Student Association (the Association of Overseas Chinese Students) should establish a party organization and play the role of the core leadership to ensure the implementation of the party’s theory and line, principles and policies, always maintain the correct direction, and give full play to the role of the grassroots party organization as a battle fortress and the vanguard and exemplary role of party members.
The authoritative American magazine “Foreign Policy” published an exclusive report on April 18, 2018, titled “The CCP is establishing party organizations in major universities in the United States.” According to the report, the Chinese authorities are setting up branches of the Communist Party of China for American schools with a large number of Chinese students and visiting scholars.
