From 13 June to 30 September 2021, the municipal nurseries will have 114 places available between the structures in via Roma, M. Berra, the Farfavola and the Apeluna. The timetable will be extended from 7.30 am to 5.30 pm with fixed entry and exit times from Monday to Friday and stable frequencies for no less than 20 hours per week.
Given the period of health emergency, the service will comply with precise anti-contagion measures from Covid-19 with “bubble” groups consisting of a minimum of 6 to a maximum of 12 children and an educator-children ratio that from 1 to 6 can be extended to 1 to 8.
“The guidelines applied – resumed the councilor Forcellati – will make it possible to ensure the ordinary management of services until 30 September 2022, in view of the overall reorganization of early childhood services with indicative effect from 1 October 2022 when the ‘nursery in Viale Europa currently used as a semi-residential service for the elderly, with this use confirmed until 30 September 2022 also considering the protracted emergency situation “.
“We have also foreseen – continues the municipal councilor – an increase of 12 overall places in the capacity of the two remaining municipal nurseries in order to be able to meet the needs of families, given the imminent expiry, no longer extendable, of the co-design for the management in partnership of innovative and experimental interventions in the sector of early childhood services with the cooperative La Sorgente also in consideration of the fact that the structure in Viale Europa will still be confirmed as a day center that hosts the elderly until 30 September 2022. To meet the need to cover the need for kindergarten places, it will therefore be necessary to find the remaining 24 necessary places on the local private market by means of an agreement “.
