“Tell the Municipality what criteria led to such a decision”
The Savt Fp asks the Municipality of Aosta for clarification on the resolution approved last May by the municipal council referring to the non-replacement of school auxiliary staff and the outsourcing of the service.
“Once again – the union accuses – a public body has decided to outsource a service without the social partners having been minimally involved, and moreover in contrast with all the other bodies”.
The Municipality of Aosta “will have to explain to us what were the criteria that led to such a decision – says Savt Fp -, doubting that the difficulty of finding staff could be one of those, considering that the last public call made by the Region 824 people took part in the hiring of 177 janitors ».
According to the union, “years of promiscuous presence of municipal and external personnel are expected and experience has taught us, over time, that this condition must absolutely be avoided, considering the organizational difficulties that are generated. And one also wonders what will become of the current janitors, given how politically decided, and if they will be abandoned to the management of external subjects as still happens to the health care workers of the Municipality ».
