Aosta, the new car parks in the former Testafochi area open from 13 September

by admin

The parking areas have 200 spaces and are subject to charges

The new parking areas built between via Monte Vodice, via Monte Pasubio and via Monte Solarolo will be accessible from Monday 13 September. This was announced by the Municipality of Aosta at the end of the concession and assignment process for the two car parks in the area of the former Testafochi barracks.

In recent days, the employees have painted the “blue” stripes and placed the parking meters in both parking lots. The largest one, located north of the military complex, has 146 paid stalls, eight of which are for loading and unloading and five are reserved for the disabled. In the smaller car park, in via Monte Vodice, there are 54 places available (always for a fee), two of which are reserved for the disabled.

The cost of parking is € 1.40 per hour, from Monday to Saturday and between 8-12 and 14-18. The minimum payment at the parking meter is 30 minutes, therefore 70 cents.

Both areas are managed by APS on behalf of the Municipality of Aosta, but they are regional property.
