The Supreme Court also intervened on the position of Giovanni Olianas (57 years old) of Villagrande, considered the gang leader and sentenced to 28 years on appeal: defended by Paolo Pilia and Leonardo Filippi, the judges of Piazza Cavour acquitted him by two heads of marginal charges and served his sentence from 28 years to 27 years, 5 months and 15 days. Same fate for Gianluigi Olianas (60), defended by Pilia and Massimiliano Ravenna: from 6 years and 3 months to 6 dry years. Slight cut of sentence also for Luca Arzu (50) from Talana, from 30 to 29 years and 9 months. Fabrizio Manca (41 years old) from Villagrande, defended by Marcello Caddori, benefited from the statute of limitations for an indictment and his sentence has dropped from 17 and a half to 16 and a half years.

For everything else, the appeal sentence of 16 September 2020 is confirmed: 5 years to Roberto Serra (58 years) from Quartu, defended by Carmelino Fenudi and Alessandro Diddi, 18 years and 10 months to Sergio Arzu (42 years) from Talana defended by Paolo Pilia, 13 years old to Simone Balloi (39 years old) of Nuoro, defended by Gianfranco Mureddu and Pasquale Ramazzotti. Again: 9 and a half years become definitive for Michele Cherchi (41 years old) from Ozieri defended by Antonio Mereu, 7 and a half years for Salvatore Deriu (57 years old) from Santulussurgiu defended by Tullio Moni and Fenudi. The other penalties: 14 and a half years for Angelo Lostia (39 years) from Olzai defended by Ramazzotti, 9 years and 9 months for Antonello Mesina (31 years) from Nuoro, defended by Herika Dessì, 2 years and 9 months for Francesco Monni ( 59 years) from Orune defended by Angelo Merlini, 4 years and 2 months for Pasquale Bellu (54) from Luras, 2 years and 8 months for Marta Rosa Coda (60 years) from Talana, 4 years for Silvana Conti (52 years) ) of Villagrande, 4 years and 2 months for Pietro Paolo Lotto (54 years) of Villagrande, 4 years for Carlo Olianas (49 years) of Villagrande Yesterday the defendants definitively sentenced to sentences not subject to suspension or who were in freedom for various reasons were arrested by the carabinieri on the orders of the execution judge.
