Additional 900 locations available for adults residing or domiciled in the Aosta Valley. Green Covid certification for vaccinated people

AOSTA. As announced in recent days, the Local Health Authority of Valle d’Aosta is organizing new vaccination sessions in response to the very high number of subscribers to the Astra Open Day on 2 June. Five additional appointments on the calendar: Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 May from 8.10 to 14.10; Tuesday 8 and Friday 11 June from 2.30pm to 8.30pm and Saturday 12 June from 8.10am to 2.10pm.

There are 900 places available in all. Reservations will be possible on the dedicated web portal (link) from 12 noon tomorrow, 28 May, until 12 noon on 8 June or subject to availability.

The initiative is aimed at members of the Regional Health Service over 18 years of age residing or domiciled in Valle d’Aosta, who do not yet have a reservation, who have not been vaccinated and who do not fall into the categories of “fragile and extremely vulnerable subjects” “for pathology or comorbidity.

Vaxzevria vaccinations (the former AstraZeneca) will be carried out at the Palaindoor in Aosta.

“Although in Italy it is preferentially used in people over the age of 60, the Vaxzevria vaccine (formerly AstraZeneca) can be administered from the age of 18 and is an effective and safe vaccine,” says the Local Health Authority.

Already after the first dose, the vaccinated will receive the provisional green Covid certification valid from the 15th day after administration until the administration of the second dose, scheduled for a date to be agreed between 28 July and 4 September next. Upon completion of the vaccination cycle, a green certificate valid for 9 months will be issued. For all those who have recovered from a Covid infection in the last 6 months, only one dose will be enough to complete the vaccination cycle and receive the green pass.
