Astra Open Day, 900 new seats sold out in a few minutes

by admin

The seats available at the Palaindoor in Aosta all booked in less than a quarter of an hour. The Local Health Authority will evaluate “further initiatives”

AOSTA. Once again the Valle d’Aosta have stormed the regional portal of the Astra Open Day to be able to book one of the 900 seats made available for vaccinations against Covid-19.

“The 900 seats available for the Astra Open Days, scheduled for the dates of 29-30 May and 8-11-12 June 2021, were sold out in 13 minutes and 54 seconds”, the Usl Company of Valle d’Aosta.

The health company organized the five sessions in addition to that of June 2, given the number of requests far exceeding the places available initially.

The booking portal for Astra Day, reactivated today at 12 noon, registered a peak of 4,500 users per minute, a sign of the fact that on this occasion too many Aosta Valley residents – many attracted by the provisional green certification – tried unsuccessfully to book vaccination.

“The Local Health Authority of Valle d’Aosta – we now read on the Astra Day portal – is evaluating further initiatives to meet those who have not been able to book”.
