The size of the incentive
The value of 2 thousand euros is the maximum because in reality there is a differentiation based on emissions. It starts with 750 euros in the 91-160 g / km CO2 range, goes up to 1,000 euros in the 61-90 category and reaches 2 thousand euros between 0 and 60.
The resource node
The law converting the “support bis” which provided for the incentives has been in force since 25 July, meaning in other words that you can access the benefit, within the limit of available resources and in any case by 31 December 2021, for all purchases made from that date. The preparation of the IT platform, renewed for the second-hand category, however, required adaptations and, as mentioned, it will be operational from next Tuesday. This entails the risk of an incentive race, with the booking from the first day of contracts dating back to the end of July, to August and to these first weeks of September.
The dowry of 40 million, compared to an average contribution range of 1,000 euros, could prove to be small and its possible refinancing should be considered.
The application of the discount
The concessionaire will recognize the contribution to the final purchaser and then recover it as a tax credit, which can only be used as compensation by submitting the F24 form electronically.
