Civil protection, stormy winds and storm surges on the Tyrrhenian coast

(ANSA) – ROME, NOV 27 – From today evening strong to stormy winds will blow on the coastal sectors of Lazio and the gusts will persist on the coasts of Tuscany, Campania, Basilicata, Calabria and Sicily, with storm surges along the exposed coasts. From the early hours of tomorrow, moreover, there will still be storms on the Tyrrhenian sectors of Campania, Basilicata and northern Calabria, with strong showers, frequent electrical activity and strong local gusts of wind. This is indicated by a weather alert from the Civil Protection.

Red alert for hydrogeological risks on part of Calabria and Basilicata assessed for tomorrow; orange alert on sectors of Campania, Basilicata and Calabria; yellow on Umbria and Lazio, on the remaining sectors of Campania, Basilicata and Calabria, and on part of Abruzzo, Molise, Sicily and Tuscany.
