A worker, Alessandro Peretti, 56, from Marene in the Cuneo area, lost his life on the job this afternoon in Bagnolo Piemonte, also in the province of Cuneo. According to initial information, the worker fell from a pylon in the locality of Pra ‘d Mill, not far from the Dominus Tecum monastery. With him, the victims of accidents at work in Piedmont have risen to 34 since the beginning of the year.

The 118 helicopter landed on the spot but left empty. For the worker, found at the foot of the pylon, there was nothing to do: according to the medical examiner he could also have been the victim of an illness. On the spot the carabinieri of the Saluzzo company, who conduct the investigations, and the inspectors of the Spresal who will have to reconstruct the dynamics of the facts and verify if all the safety procedures have been respected.
