BATTIPAGLIA – Security alarm in the city. “A quiet weekend of fear” defines it this way Alfredo Vicinanza, an engineer from Battipagliese who last Saturday filmed the scenes of violence that took place in via Italia. It was 10.30 pm, as you can easily guess from the tolling of the bells heard in the video, and therefore well beyond the limit imposed by the national curfew to stop in the streets, when about thirty children, many of whom probably minors, gave I start a brawl with bright tones.
Screams, noises, verbal assaults before the physical confrontation, which fortunately did not degenerate into something serious. In a via Italia almost totally in the dark, behind the Municipality of Battipaglia, on the street corner between via Istria and via Trieste, several bands of kids gave life to an indecent spectacle, with gatherings, glass of broken bottles, screams and shoving before each of them decided to retreat, hopefully towards their own homes.
