“For this scene with the actors we created a feeling of tension, as if the protagonists were locked in a cage”, explains Beatrice Baldacci, director of La tana. “We wanted the audience to hold their breath with them.”

The film tells the story of Giulio, a shy boy who meets Lia during a summer in the countryside. The two fall in love with her, but she hides something: she does not allow anyone, not even Giulio, to enter her house.

Beatrice Baldacci is an Italian director and screenwriter. La tana is his first feature film.
