Stefano Puzzer, the leader of the protest of the Trieste dockers arrived last night in Piazza Duomo to bring his message of support and solidarity to the demonstrators, thus giving his imprimatur to the initiative put in place by the Belluno group no Green pass.

After parking in Lambioi, Puzzer was escorted by the police to the stage set up in the square. As soon as he was recognized (rumors of his arrival had been circulating by the organizers since the beginning of the event) a real roar was raised among the people. “It is time that we return to talk to each other as we once did,” he continued in his speech. “Let’s go on until the goal is reached, always in a peaceful way,” Puzzer recommended, who then referred to the episodes of recent days in Trieste. «In Trieste», he said, «there was some problem but we understood it in time: they wanted to trap us. We, however, continue our peaceful battle. We are all the same, and we must stay united ».

Acclaimed by the approximately 800 people present in the square, Puzzer invited everyone to overcome «all differences in religion and politics. We all have two arms and two legs. The only thing I am sure of is that our simplicity, our humility and our way of being honest and fighting for our constitution will lead us to the goal “, he said greeting the demonstrators to the singing of” people like us never gives up”. His words greatly charged those present who had brought from home, as suggested by the organizers, a mug with a thermos containing hot drinks, and a blanket. Among those present was also a group fed by Auronzo distinguishable by the sign “Trieste calls, Auronzo answers”.

About thirty officers, including police, financial police and carabinieri, supervised the demonstration. And there was a moment of tension at the start of the event when a black man approached the protesters taking the microphone that was holding a person and breaking it.
