Under house arrest he had “pizzini” delivered to collect money
UDINE. The financiers of the Provincial Command of Udine arrested a bodybuilder aged 44, residing in Trieste, but actually domiciled in Tarcento, because he was responsible for the crime of drug dealing, also seizing 1.6 kg of marijuana and anabolic steroids , including 15 packs of nandrolone decanoate and an additional 5,034 ampoules and tablets of testosterone, trenbolone and boldenone, the possession of which was not justified by the health condition of the detainee.
In addition, 11,000 euros in banknotes of various denominations were found and seized, the proceeds of the dealing activity. The arrest originates from an initiative check by the military of the Udine economic-financial police unit against the man, known in the province in the bodybuilding and gymnastics environment.
The specific precedents in the field of drugs and the nervousness shown by the arrested have aroused the suspicions of the agents, who have decided to deepen the control. The subsequent searches carried out first in the home in Tarcento and then in the residence in Trieste made it possible to find the drug and the steroids subjected to seizure.
The substances were cleverly concealed in various cavities created within the kitchen and bedroom furniture. Upon the outcome of the searches, the Judicial Authority of Udine initially ordered the personal precautionary measure of house arrest.
Therefore, careful monitoring of the arrested person was arranged to verify compliance with the requirements related to detention. In this way, it was possible to surprise the mother leaving the house with a bag, delivering it shortly after, near a public parking lot, to an Albanian citizen.
Having stopped the latter, the financiers discovered that the bag contained, between the folds of a dress placed there, two “pizzini” bearing the information, names and mobile numbers of three people of Italian nationality as well as, next to each, the amount in euros that the Albanian should have collected on behalf of the arrested person.
The investigations carried out confirmed that the money was the consideration still to be collected for the previous sale of quantities of marjiuana. The violation of the obligations connected with house arrest by the man led the magistrate of the court of Udine, Mariarosa Persico, to order the aggravation of the precautionary measure with detention in prison. The financiers therefore proceeded to take the arrested person to the Udine Prison.
