Over a hundred policemen, carabinieri and financiers
(ANSA) – FOGGIA, 15 JAN – Hundreds of agents of the State Police and soldiers of the Provincial Carabinieri and Guardia di Finanza commands have been carrying out dozens of searches and sweeping checks since last night, in several sensitive areas of Foggia and the province, in search of weapons, drugs and any captors. A joint operation to control the territory arranged following the attacks, nine in eight days, carried out since the beginning of the year against traders from Foggia and San Severo.
The operation was also attended by the offices and special departments of the three police forces (Central Operations Service, Ros, Scico, Gico Bari, Crime Prevention Department, Carabinieri Cacciatori di Puglia, Green Basques, 11th Puglia Carabinieri Regiment, dog lovers, helicopters) . Enclosed entire blocks of buildings, sieved massively.
