Metaphotography is a three-year project that tells how the way of making and seeing images within the Italian contemporary scene is changing, curated by Mauro Zanchi and Sara Benaglia.
In this period of time, the curators have therefore conversed with artists, museum directors and teachers to explore the boundary between photography and visual arts, favoring the approaches, which have emerged in the last twenty years, which arise precisely where the boundary becomes thinnest, leaving space to the reinvention of the photographic medium.
Until 24 October the third and last part of the project is exhibited by BACO_BaseArteContemporaneaOdierna, in Bergamo, while Skinnerboox has edited the book.
