Building on fire in Milan: evacuated, no injuries

About one hundred residents in the building in the San Siro area

(ANSA) – MILAN, 25 SEPTEMBER – A building with about one hundred residents was evacuated due to a fire in Milan, in via Paravia 80, San Siro area. The firefighters intervened around 8 pm following calls for help from the residents of the building not far from the Segesta metro station. The flames broke out in two apartments on the fifth floor, destroying them completely and also involving the attics. According to reports from the firefighters, the families managed to escape to safety before the fire trapped them. At the moment there are no injuries or intoxications. (HANDLE).
