BUSANO. Since last Sunday, the mayor of Busano, Giambattistino Chiono, 72, has been hospitalized for Covid.
He is at the Ivrea clinic in Ivrea where he underwent oxygen therapy.
Dean of the mayors of the upper Canavese, he had not undergone the anti Covid vaccination by choice. “I was not confident in an experimental drug and I preferred not to undergo the vaccination,” he himself tells the Ansa agency.
His condition gradually improved over the days. His wife and daughter were also affected by Covid in his family, but none of them needed hospital treatment.
