CAGLIARI. Moments of tension in the late afternoon on a Ctm bus at Poetto. According to what emerged in a fragmentary way, the driver of the public transport would have had a contrast with a passenger due to the incorrect attitude on the part of the user and when a physical collision was about to loom, the driver sprayed a pepper spray on the fleeting face in an attempt to block his threatening impetuosity.
The intent was successful and in the meantime the carabinieri of the radio-mobile nucleus arrived alerted by the operations center of 112. The soldiers got on the bus, inside which it was kept closed by the driver waiting for the police, and verified that also some passengers had been sore eyes and airways from the pepper spray.
For this reason, the intervention of 118 was requested, but there was no need for hospitalization. Passengers recovered with on-site treatment by medical personnel. The carabinieri collected the versions of the incident from the protagonists and the testimonies of the people on board the Ctm’s PQ bus. (L.on)
