The two were identified thanks to the cameras of the public transport
CAGLIARI. The state police denounced a 56-year-old offender from Selargius and his minor son, who attacked the driver of a city bus on the evening of 29 April last year. The man and his son are charged with aggravated injuries in competition.
The offender, aboard his car in the company of his son, had chased the public transport which, according to him, had not given him priority shortly before. As soon as the bus stopped, he got on board and hit the driver in the face with a stone. His son had also supported his father, kicking the driver.
The bus driver, bruised and wounded in the left eye, was transported from 118 to the emergency room, in yellow code, and was discharged with a prognosis of 7 days.
The investigators of the “Crimes against the person” section of the mobile squad identified the attacker thanks to the images of the public transport cameras and the testimonies of the passengers present who, with their cell phones, had also filmed the scene.
