Call for rent, Barmasse: a new call is in preparation

The Region is refining an IT program for the management of applications for rent subsidies

AOSTA. The regional administration is perfecting an IT system to speed up the procedures for the rent notice. The system will be ready “shortly” and will be used to manage the latest regional tender that the offices are preparing. The indication was provided by the councilor for health, health and social policies, Roberto Barmasse, in response to a question from the Lega Vallée d’Aoste discussed in the Regional Council on the interruption of payments for rent contributions.

Last year, Barmasse explained, the three employees assigned to the procedures handled more than 2,500 requests. “This management is no longer functional not only for the number of users – said the commissioner – but also because it does not allow the extraction of data by category and requires the consultation of large quantities of paper documentation”.

The commissioner confirmed that “the payments have not yet been disbursed as the new call, which governs the grant and identifies, among other things, the thresholds for access to the benefit and the criteria for calculating the amount of the contribution, is under review “. At the moment “the call is being prepared, while the latest changes are being finalized for the computer program and should be completed shortly”.

“If we manage to get to the new announcement, that’s fine, otherwise we try to settle the payments to those who already benefited from it. Everything is at the right time to evaluate what the priorities are”, replied the leader of the Lega Andrea Manfrin.
