The doctors of the resuscitation ward of the Chivasso hospital, where he had been hospitalized, interrupted the induction of the pharmacological coma without indicating the prognosis, which therefore remains confidential, due to the severe head injury. Signorino was transferred to the general medicine ward and as soon as his conditions improve he will be questioned by the investigators to complete the pieces that are missing from the reconstruction of the facts.
The bad news is that another young man from San Giusto Canavese was injured in the fight, albeit to a lesser extent. A boy who, according to one testimony, would not have participated in the fight, but would have only approached his friends when the tension began to rise. “What is happening?” Asked the boy who in response would have received a violent punch in the face by one of the members of Nichelino’s group. Back home, the next day he went to the Ivrea hospital accompanied by his parents. Here he had undergone surgery to reduce his jaw fracture.
Nothing filters instead from the Ivrea prosecutor who is coordinating the investigations entrusted to the Caluso carabinieri who intervened at the end of the brawl. Investigations that aim to ascertain individual responsibilities to find out who it was, among the five young people from Nichelino, who kicked Edoardo Signorino in the face. It also seems to bang his head against the wall. For the moment, the accusation of aggravated brawl against eight young people (five from Nichelino, two from San Giusto and one from Palazzo) with an age between 20 and 27 remains standing. Furthermore, it does not seem that the young people had objects with them that could offend. However, they had metal rings on their fingers which certainly made the punches more violent.
The five young men from Nichelino had been blocked and searched by the carabinieri while they were getting on the bus to return home. On the body they had the marks of the fight. According to an initial reconstruction made possible by the images of the video surveillance cameras of the Giacometto tobacconist, where the fight began, the two groups, the one made up of boys from San Giusto and Palazzo and that of Nichelino, after having drunk a few too many glasses making various stops in the pegs set up in different points of the historic center they found themselves around one thirty in via Bettoja, in front of the Giacometto tobacconist: a member of the San Giusto group to react to a provocation would have slapped a boy by Nichelino. At that point the blows would have started and continued a few meters later, in via Morteo, where there are no cameras.
