Authorities in Villavicencio managed to capture aliases “Loco Frank” or “Frufi”, accused of being responsible for the death of a four-year-old girl due to a stray bullet, when she was carrying out an act of assassination in the San Carlos neighborhood.
300 minutes of recording allowed the investigators to establish the route that this subject took before and after committing the act of violence, where a man known as “Matayana” also lost his life.
His arrest was made effective through a search and search procedure in the Brisas del Guatiquía neighborhood, the place where uniformed officers from the SIJIN and the Special Operations Group arrived to capture him.
The probative material elements and physical evidence collected by the investigators through interviews, follow-ups, recognition in a photographic album, video analysis, interception is, among other judicial proceedings; allowed to establish that this individual was the person who was characterized as a “broom”, using overalls from a public service company, to make an attempt on the life of the victim, where finally not only this person died, but also an innocent girl from 4 years, causing consternation at the regional and national level.
This subject had a criminal history of more than 10 years, is currently linked to 4 investigative processes for different crimes, had participated in another act of violence where he seriously injured a man in 2019 and participated in the theft of a bank of the city in 2013.
Alias ”Loco Frank” was made available to the authorities, where he will have to face trial for the aforementioned crimes.
