Car ends up in a ditch, driver transported to hospital

The exit from the road occurred on provincial 71, between Porpetto and Gonars: the vehicle finished its run against a concrete bridge

PORPETTO. Accident on the afternoon of Tuesday 12 April, around 6 pm, between Porpetto and Gonars, along the provincial road 71 where a Mercedes ended up in a ditch and against a bridge that connects the road to a house. On the spot, to rescue the driver, a Croatian citizen, also the 118 helicopter which then accompanied the patient to the hospital in Udine. The firefighters of Latisana rushed to the place for a fire which then, fortunately, had already managed to extinguish some passers-by.
