Car in the lake, autopsy carried out on the two victims – News

An autopsy was carried out today in Como on the bodies of Morgan Algeri and Tiziana Tozzo, who died last Saturday in the car that crashed into the lake in Como.

The pathologist took 60 days to file the report with the prosecutor’s office, also because a series of tests must be carried out on the material taken. However, it seems that we should not deviate from the hypothesis of death due to drowning for both. Algeri, 38, and Tozzo, 45, were in the car when the SUV, parked a short distance from the railing, took off, breaking down the protection and ending up in the lake. According to the fire brigade’s report, the car, after the impact with the first part of the seabed, in that shallow point, would have overturned and would have sunk up to 15 meters in that way. The two occupants managed to free themselves and get out of the cockpit, but were unable to get back in. Meanwhile, in the next few days, prosecutor Giuseppe Rose will entrust an expert with the task of examining the car and the “black box” to try to understand why the car suddenly left and ended up in the lake.
