CASERTA – Seventeen people arrested, of which 14 in prison and 3 under house arrest, for drug dealing.The carabinieri of the operational nucleus of Sessa Aurunca, in the Caserta area, have carried out the precautionary custody order issued by the investigating judge of the court of Santa Maria Capua Vetere.The investigation, conducted by the prosecutor of Santa Maria Capua Vetere and delegated to the carabinieri of Sessa Aurunca, which began in May 2018 and ended in November 2019, allowed to identify a group of people operating between the provinces of Caserta, Frosinone. and Chieti, considered in competition with each other, responsible for drug dealing activities.
From the investigations it emerged that some of the suspects purchased large quantities of cocaine and heroin wholesale from Italian and foreign suppliers and, favored by the Sinti dialect, established relationships with other drug dealers who, in turn, managed drug dealing squares in Sessa Aurunca, Mondragone (There is); Pietramelara, Cassino and San Salvo (Ch). Investigators documented over 200 drug dealing incidents, identified numerous contractors who were reported, 3 local drug dealers arrested and another 8 people deferred to a state of freedom. Also seized 30 thousand euros in cash and 5 kilos of cocaine and heroin.
