Beijing’s Ping An Chaoyang official notified on the 21st that Li Yundi had been arrested for prostitution. Subsequently, Netease stated that it was not the first time that Li Yundi was arrested for prostitution. There was an accident in the first half of this year, and it was not spread at that time.
After being notified by the police, the People’s Daily quickly commented that “Li Yundi was detained for prostitution, and the black and white piano keys cannot tolerate’yellow'”. CCTV also posted an article saying that “Li Yundi’s fall into the altar is completely self-inflicted.”
The Chinese Musicians Association announced the cancellation of Li Yundi’s membership that night; the China Performance Industry Association also issued an announcement on the 22nd, requiring member units to boycott Li Yundi.
For a series of products endorsed by Li Yundi, the manufacturers also quickly deleted his photos, and the entire music, entertainment, and business circles banned him.
Li Yundi plays red songs in high-key

On the evening of June 25, 2011, Li Yundi held the first concert of the Li Yundi Red Piano World Tour for the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China in Chongqing. Twenty piano boys selected as “Future Stars” played a red song with Li Yundi.
Li Yundi subsequently released red songs and “Red Piano” playing classic Chinese songs.

However, many analysts believe that the main reason for Li Yundi’s arrest was that he was thrown out as a pawn by the CCP to divert the attention of public opinion.
A senior media person told Radio Free Asia that every time there is a major public opinion in the country, the official will throw out this kind of artist scandal to shift the focus. Recently, on a number of news issues, officials have been passive and criticized, such as the Sixth Plenary Session of the Central Committee to pass a “historical resolution,” and the CCP’s ineffective relief of the floods in Shanxi.

In January 2013, he became a member of the Standing Committee of the 4th CPPCC Chongqing Committee.
