«The Colle del Nivolet road is one of the most beautiful roads in the world that allows you to fully enjoy nature with its crystalline mountain lakes and its majestic peaks in an enchanted landscape within the Gran Paradiso Park. During my cycling adventures I have climbed many mountains and climbs but I think I can hardly find a climb as beautiful as that of Colle del Nivolet. This is why I believe very much in this event and I sincerely thank all its supporters because I am sure that in 2022 it is our duty to move towards an increasingly sustainable mobility that protects Nature by allowing everyone to use it in the most sustainable way possible. Many hills now have many days a year closed to motor traffic and this represents an excellent direction for a respect for our Planet which is increasingly in need. I really want to sincerely thank Gal Valli del Canavese, Interreg Alcotra Explorlab, the Municipality of Ceresole Reale, the Gran Paradiso Park and the Metropolitan City of Turin for making this incredible event possible “commented Paola Gianotti, ultra cyclist holder of 4 Guinness World Record which carries out two important campaigns on the respect of the cyclist on the road and on the planting of trees and president of the Asd Paola Gianotti Academy.
