Sun Xun, deputy director of the Education Committee of Chaoyang District, introduced that Chaoyang District will add 4,980 degrees in 2022, including 2,780 pre-school degrees, 1,200 compulsory education degrees, and 1,000 high school degrees. Chaoyang District will implement a three-year action plan for the construction of primary and secondary school degrees to increase the supply of degree resources through multiple channels. The three-year plan is to build and expand 11 primary and secondary schools, increase 9,560 degrees, and alleviate the contradiction of insufficient supply of degrees and uneven distribution.

Sun Xun introduced that during the “14th Five-Year Plan” period, Chaoyang District will continue to develop universal, inclusive, safe and high-quality preschool education, adding 12,000 preschool education degrees, maintaining the enrollment rate of school-age children above 90%, and covering inclusive kindergartens. The rate reached 90%; the allocation of compulsory education resources continued to be optimized, 19 primary and secondary schools were newly built, renovated and expanded, 21,000 places were added, and 3-5 influential group school brands were formed; the excellent and good rate of physical fitness test for primary and secondary school students reached the standard.
